Star Candidates May 2019

It's that time again when we announce our Expect A Star Candidates of the Month! Congratulations to the following candidates for all of your efforts in the Early Childhood Sector.

ACT Star Candidate – Ian

Ian has recently joined Expect A Star and this is his first experience in the Early Childhood industry. He has used his excellent communication skills and nurturing nature from his experience with the older age group, to develop meaningful relationships with many of the children at centres across Canberra.

We hope you are enjoying gaining this valuable experience in Early Childhood education and encourage you to enrol in your qualification soon!

NSW Star Candidate – Jordyn

Jordyn has been chosen for May’s Star Candidate as we received this glowing email from a client and we couldn’t have said it better ourselves!

“Jordyn was amazing. She jumped straight into the job, playing with all the children and asking if anyone needed help. I couldn’t have asked for a better casual staff member. She fit in so well with our team and it was effortless having her here. We would love to have her visit again. What an amazing casual staff member to have working with Expect a Star.’’

Thank you for representing EAS so well Jordyn!

QLD Star Candidate – Kara

Kara is a fantastic educator that is asked to return to every centre or OSHC setting she works at. She receives glowing reviews! We are told that Kara always demonstrates a proactive attitude, she shows a keen interest to find out about the centre philosophy, routines and the children’s needs and she is willing to take on challenging tasks to assist the permanent staff. Well done Kara!

VIC Star Candidate – Donna

Despite only having worked for Expect A Star for a short period, Donna is already worthy of being the Star Candidate of the month! Donna is an extremely flexible and adaptable candidate. She is a pleasure to have working for us as she is willing to travel to different locations and undertake a variety of shifts. We are also told by the centres that Donna has a professional and friendly attitude and is great help to the permanent staff. She gets stuck in right away and is willing to assist the permanent staff with any required task. Thank you so much for your hard work Donna!
