Star Candidates May 2018

Congratulations to our May super STARS for their efforts last month.

NSW - Simon

Simon is May 2018’s Star Candidate, he commenced working with Expect A Star mid April this year, and has proven how capable, reliable and motivated he is during this short time. He has worked many shifts, is very flexible, will travel to lots of different areas and all the centres have loved his performance. His positive and can-do attitude is model to all children. The fact that he is willing to work across all the age groups is a blessing and all the children love him and his interactions! Many centres have placed him on their preferred list and repeatedly request him back. Well done Simon on your great performance, the team here at Expect A Star congratulate you.

QLD - Alison

Alison has been chosen as QLD Star Candidate for May 2018 as  she is an amazing new addition to the team in QLD. She is enthusiastic to travel everywhere by public transport and is very reliable. Centres are commenting on her calming effect for both the children and the staff members and she has quickly become a firm favourite at many of the city based centres.

Congratulations Alison – you’re a valuable part of our team!

ACT – Ming

Since registering with Expect A Star in November 2017 Ming has been an enthusiastic and reliable casual staff member. Ming communicates her availabilities really well with the team and is always on the priority list! She is flexible with travel, and even sometimes shuffles around her own plans if we are really stuck in the area. The Casual Team really appreciates that they can rely on Ming!

VIC - Julie

Julie returned to Expect A Star in April this year after previously working for us in 2013. Since returning to casual work, Julie has very quickly become a favourite again at all of the centres she has been working at. She is also a favourite among our team at the office as she is flexible, willing to travel to different areas and is always happy to help out with shifts. Some of the feedback that Julie has received include being able to interact meaningfully with children of all ages and being an outgoing and personable educator that is able to quickly adapt to different environments and confidently undertake required tasks. Julie is clearly passionate and the staff at the centres tell us that she is a pleasure to work with. Well done Julie!
