Q&A

My role as Casual Employee at Expect A Star is to:

Adhere to any role that is required of me within a service; supporting the other staff, engaging with the children and families and helping the service run as it normally would.

The best thing about my role is:

That no two services are really the same and I get to meet new people, staff, children and families that help me grow as an educator. This brings new ideas, experiences and routines that all add to my knowledge in childcare.

How long have you been working with Expect A Star? What do you like most about working for Expect A Star?

I started my career in childcare through Expect A Star, gaining a full-time position after a few months. 5 years later, I've returned to them, working for just over 6 months and thoroughly enjoy it. I like that there is so much variety in the role and that I get to experience and see a lot of different services and how they run as I didn't get too as a full-time educator.
