Q&A

1.My role as Casual Employee at Expect A Star is to:

My role is to provide the best quality in the centre that I go to work at, to support the Educators in the centre doing any task that is required of me, working collaboratively as a team and to interact with the children at the centre. I always ask if there is anything that I can do or help out with so that the day goes smoothly and everyone is happy, not stressed out and enjoying the day.

2.The best thing about my role is:

Going to work at different centres. I like to experience how other centres are run, gain new learning opportunities and form new relationships with children, parents and staff members as every centre is different. When I get requested to go back to a centre, I get very excited as I get to further my learning and my existing relationships.

3.How long have you been working with Expect A Star? What do you like most about working for Expect A Star?

It has been overall a year since starting with Expect A Star. I started for a short time before beginning a contract permanent job and when I fulfilled the contract, I came back to Expect A Star asking to work and they helped me out straight away and I am very thankful for that. I love that I get to choose the days that I want to work and when I want some time off. The team at Expect A Star are lovely, friendly, professional and very considerate in providing shifts on my availability days.
