- Planning a delicious seasonal menu for the week, ordering stock and budgeting
- Following all allergy, intolerance and cultural requirements, and providing alternatives
- Providing breakfast, morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea for all children
- Work collaboratively alongside dedicated and experienced early childhood educators
- Ensure the health and safety of yourself, children and staff by keeping a clean and safe kitchen environment (storage, handling and preparation) in accordance with Food Safety Regulations
- Food Handler’s or Food Safety Supervisor certificate
- Knowledge and understanding of allergies and dietary requirements
- Monday to Friday availability
- Friendly and professional with effective communication skills in order to collaborate with staff
- Prior experience as a cook in a childcare setting or aged care preferred

Opening its doors from 7am until 6pm each weekday, this Exceeding service has a beautiful admin in the front office greeting each family as they enter.
